Find exciting things to do in and around Harpers Ferry, WV

Activities can be arranged for a fee of 20% of the total cost. Transportation can be arranged at a cost of $1/mile round trip. Minimum fees apply. Sample activities at the Inn or within ten steps to ten miles of the Inn include:

  • Bicycling
  • Hiking-on-your-own or with a guide
  • Swimming in nearby pools and rivers
  • Fishing-on-your-own (bring your own gear) or with a guide
  • Tubing, Rafting, Kayaking, Canoeing, Zip-Lining

  • Jazzercize/Yoga/Personal Training/Massage & Muscle Therapy
  • Museums
  • Guided tours of town and area (historical tours, ghost tours, and other specialty tours, such as Civil War Battlefields
  • Programs & Civil War Enactments offered by the National Park Service and others, including the Harpers Ferry Park Association
  • Lectures and lessons on selected topics
  • Music (shows, sing-alongs)
  • Ghost tours
  • Farm visits
  • Church visits

  • Shopping ~ shops, consignment shops, flea markets, antique stores, Wal-Mart, the outlets in Leesburg (30 minutes from the Inn), the outlets in Hagerstown (45 minutes from the Inn), and more.
